Clean oak skirting boards with a clear oil finish regularly: Remove dry dirt with a soft cloth or brush. For damp cleaning, use a lint-free, slightly damp cloth — avoid excess moisture. Retreat the oiled surface with a suitable wood oil as needed to maintain its protective function. Avoid direct contact with water or aggressive cleaning agents. In case of scratches or heavier wear marks, sand and re-oil if necessary.
