Classic & timeless: strip parquet from pure natural wood – repeatedly sandable, available in solid and multi-layer.
315 products
Strip parquet consists of narrow, individual wood strips (45–80 mm wide) that can be laid in various patterns – e.g. herringbone, basket weave or parallel bond. Strip parquet is available as solid wood (22 mm, repeatedly sandable) and as a multi-layer variant. It is the classic parquet for period buildings, Wilhelminian-style houses and demanding renovations.
Strip parquet is the classic parquet format. Narrow wood strips, laid in basket weave, herringbone or straight patterns, suit traditional apartments, period buildings and modern spaces alike. At Holzboden Direkt you'll find strip parquet as solid strips, 2-layer and 3-layer variants – in widths of 45–80 mm, in oak, beech, walnut, cherry and maple.
Solid strip parquet is made entirely from a single piece of wood – robust, repeatedly sandable and built to last a lifetime. The typical 22 mm thickness makes it ideal for renovations requiring a high resanding reserve. 2-layer strip parquet combines a 4–6 mm solid wear layer with a carrier material, offering better dimensional stability and suitability for underfloor heating.
Strip parquet is traditionally installed fully glued – lying solidly and giving the characteristic sound of a solid floor. For underfloor heating, always use full gluing with an elastic parquet adhesive.
Oak remains the most popular choice: its natural, warm character suits almost any interior style. Beech is particularly hard and suitable for high-traffic areas. For oiled floors, re-oil once or twice a year; lacquered floors need only a dry or slightly damp mop.
